It looks like Marvel Studios Captain America has taken yet another steps towards production, with the announcement of two writers to join the project. It looks like Marvel Studios is having something of a tiff with yet another one of their stars over moolah. Lets face it, Marvels initial idea of releasing both Captain America and The Avengers in the same year a few months part was way too optimistic. That may actually work in his favor if he continues to promote himself as a viable candidate to play Captain America in... According to director Joe Johnston, substitute director of The Wolf Man and Marvels upcoming The First Avenger: Captain America , his big-screen adaptation of the life and times of Steve... First up, director Joe Johnston has revealed to CHUD that The Invaders super team will indeed be joining Captain America as he battles the dastardly Nazis in his very own movie, The First Avenger: Captain America in 2011. The Wolfman finds him on new turf, helming a splashy thriller with plenty of gore and fangs. Since then, he's had the luxury of following his instincts, alternating giant family hits with acclaimed adventure flicks. He literally has the max abilities it's possible to have and not be a superhuman. But the Super-Soldier Serum increased his body to the physical maximum. Captain America doesn't have superhuman powers, unlike most popular superheroes. Other enemies of Captain America include Flag-Smasher, Scourge of the Underworld, Crossbones, and Dr. Zemo.
They also fought Captain America a lot-they created the Cosmic Cube, which Red Skull obtained and used to nearly destroy the universe and kill Captain America. It's a group of amazingly smart scientists devoted to ruling the world by technology-not force. They were foiled by Cap and the New Avengers. Their most devious plot against him and the Avengers was creating clones of them to fight them while they hijacked missiles and tried to launch them at the U.S. They designed special weapons like the Death-Spore Bomb and Overkill Horn designed to take over Earth, all stopped by Cap. So it is a subversive, terrorist organization. Baron Zemo continued to fight Cap, until a beam from his gun bounced off Cap's shield and caused an avalanche that destroyed Baron Zemo. He quickly became the Avengers' enemy and formed the Masters of Evil against them.
Zemo resurfaced years later when he learned of Cap returning and joining the Avengers. Cap fell off into the Atlantic, but Bucky was apparently killed in the blast. Bucky and Captain America were there to stop him. Near the end, Zemo tried to steal an experimental airplane. Zemo blamed Cap, and they often battled each other throughout World War II. Captain America found out, and battled Zemo.
