Superman

Superman CGC graded comic Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1 in 1938; his own comic soon followed, with both books finding great success on the newsstands. A radio program and movies featuring Superman would soon follow. They sent Wheeler their Superman idea, but he too rejected it. Siegel and Shuster finally became published. Occult, and they were published later that year. Meanwhile, the boys' break would come when a retired Army Major named Malcolm Wheeler decided to publish his own comic magazine in 1935. This idea was rejected by publishers, too. Superman used his powers to help humans in distress. The Kents found and adopted the baby and they soon discovered that he had supernatural powers. This superhero's story began on the planet of Krypton which was soon going to blow up.
Because the Great Depression was happening, they both had difficulty finding anything except odd jobs here and there. Time had passed, and now the two young friends graduated from high school and began looking for employment. This idea was also rejected by different publishers. Superman was drawn as an ordinary looking man who had hidden super powers.

After studying the magazine, they decided to change Superman into a hero who did only good work. Both Siegel and Shuster were amazed by it. The next year brought the advent of a new magazine on the market, which was a comic strip which featured Detective Dan. The newsletter soon went belly up when its few subscribers lost interest in the publication. In this version of Superman, instead of being a hero, Superman used his super powers to destroy and to destruct. And, as always, Shuster drew the pictures that went along with the storyline. Siegel and Shuster tried yet a third time in 1932 with the publishing of their newsletter.

With high hopes, they sent their completed comic strip to the United Feature Syndicate, but it was turned down. The two boys decided to put their creative talents together and they created "The Interplanetary Police." Shuster was the artist while Siegel wrote the story lines. They soon discovered that they both shared the love of the world of science fiction. They were both working on their high school newspaper together. For Superman was born through years of adversity and struggle. Discussion of historical impact of the movie and comics. The page you requested was not found.

Reboot and recast the whole franchise. Singer totally screwed up everything else in the movie. Routh was pathetic in the role of superman. Not some chris reeve mini-me close doing his sub-par impersonation of reeve. And it wouldn't hurt if an actor could kill themselves as a result of a self-disturbing performance. Michael Rosenbaum fits the role so well, he would be perfect for Lex Luthor in my opinion. I personally like the idea of tom welling just becuz after watching smallville, its wierd seeing someone else as clark kent...

A pathetic demented real estate agent. How about some decent villians. You have to put him back in the Christopher reeve styled suit. They used the Original Superman film theme throughout the film, but gave him a new theme as well.

I particularly loved the music that played when Superman Flew Lois back to the Daily planet. The camera work, the Visual effects and special effects made it awe inspiring to me. I would have loved to have seen the Christopher Reeve films done in this style of cinematography that Singer chose to do SR in. Though the story with Richard White and the kid could have been omitted , visually the film is breath taking.

Someone close to her style should play Lois Lane in my book. She needs to be sexy, not bimboliscious. People wouldn't buy it because Lois Lane is not a bimbo, therefore no Pamela Anderson's allowed. Someone posted somewhere that Megan Fox should be cast. Flat is not good for the female Heineken or hoosers. From her backside it looked like someone kicked her but up into her shoulder blades.

The writers and the director are to blame. I can't believe people blame Routh for the flop that was Superman Returns. New Superman movies will come out as the best superhero flicks if you give this legend a good script with bad-ass super villains and an entertaining/intense plot.. He is absolutely identical to jordan and is a great actor. Not interested in General Zod and Company. I'm pulling for Brainiac myself -- the Brainiac we saw in Justice League Unlimited, the cartoon that was a gigawatt brighter than the SR flick. Throw all that out and give us something new. SR was little more than an uninspired remake of the original Superman film with the needless Superboy plot shoehorned into it.
