CGC Signature Series Books
This label is applied to CGC-graded comic books that have been signed by someone of significance to the comic, under the direct observation of a CGC employee, and are thus certified as an authentic signature by CGC.Signature Series books are often certified at the CGC headquarters, but also often at prominent conventions where the artist can sign in the presence of the staff employee.
Signature Series books are often treated as being more desirable than 'normal', unsigned books, although some collectors may view the signature as a defect.
Marvel Comics writer and former publisher Stan Lee is a popular Signature Series participant.
