CGC Grade 9.6
CGC denotes the grade of 9.6 as being Near Mint Plus, or slightly better than Near Mint.Like 9.8, the 9.6 grade is fairly common among newer and Bronze Age comic books, somewhat less so with Silver Age, and increasingly difficult to find with comics from before the 1960's.
For collectors looking to purchase very highly graded comics but who have limited resources, 9.6-graded books are among the most highly desirable due to their favorable balance of price and condition.
