CGC Grade 8.5
CGC's grade of 8.5 refers to 'Very Fine plus,' or, just above Very Fine.Very Fine is a grade that is often referred to by collectors, but which is often difficult to define.
If a comic book cannot quite be fairly graded as Near Mint, most collectors will fall back on Very Fine as a more general statement of condition which suggests a still solid book with only minor flaws.
