CGC's grade of 7.0 is defined as Fine - Very Fine; that is, it falls between the two grades.
For several years, comic books were graded with only three major grades: Good, Fine, and Mint. Fine was considered the middle ground
between the two extremes, and thus the vast majority of older comic books, which were in decent condition, were considered Fine.
These days, the denotation of Fine carries a far more specific set of criteria. However, it is still a grade that tends to refer to
a more or less middle-of-the-road condition comic book.
While not as desirable as the higher grades, books graded 7.0 are still often considered acceptable by collectors of limited means.
